Researching family names
We differentiate between family names according to their structure:
1 Simple family names
There are simply structured family names that are made up of just one word.
2 Compound family names
However, most family names have a complicated structure. This means that they are made up of different words, links and endings. Different combinations are possible.
When researching the family name, the family name is specifically researched based on its linguistic structure. The family name is broken down into its individual components:
The basic form is filtered out.
Links and endings are filtered out.
Using family name research, we can research the origin and meaning of the family name.
Family name research usually takes a week. The price is 150.00 euros.
However, family name research does not answer the question of the family’s origins. The family’s origins are investigated using genealogical research.
